A Man of No Importance by Stephen Farber A Man of No Importance is an exceedingly odd Irish film about a middle-aged bus conductor who's obsessed with Oscar Wilde but doesn't seem to recognize his own sexual orientation. Even granting that people were more repressed 30 years ago, when the story is set, its psychological underpinnings never make sense. Albert Finney compounds the problem by failing to convey any physical desire in his scenes with the handsome bus driver who intrigues him. What did you think of this movie?
