The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert by Stephen Farber In The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, two transvestites and a transsexual take their show on the road, deep into the Australian Outback. As they startle the natives in these backwater towns, the film builds an enormously affectionate tribute to a band of outsiders. All of the performances are first-rate, with Terence Stamp bringing a lovely tact and gravity to his portrayal.
